Implementing In Your School
How can we start Bible history classes in our public schools like you have in the Chattanooga area? That's a question we frequently hear. Introducing Bible history classes into a local school or school district can be challenging. Many people have misconceptions as to the legality, necessity, and historical precedent of having Bible history electives for public school students. The National Council on Bible Curriculum in Public Schools is committed to bringing a state certified Bible course (elective) into the public high schools nationwide. Their curriculum shows a concern to convey the content of the Bible as compared to literature and history. Like our Chattanooga area program, the central approach is simply to study the Bible as a foundation document of society, vs. a study about the Bible. We invite you to contact them for more information.
