Signal Mountain Middle High School

Hamilton County’s newest high school is set to open its doors for the 2008-09 school year. Parents and students are thrilled that the dream of having a Signal Mountain high school is becoming a reality.

Signal Mountain Middle School will join the high school on the new campus as Signal Mountain Middle High School (SMMHS). Both the middle and high schools will be International Baccalaureate Program schools.

Because parents desire the best for their children, they have requested that high school Bible history courses be offered as they have been in the middle school. Principal Eddie Gravette, former principal at Hixson High School, understands the value Bible history courses bring to a complete education.

Therefore, Principal Gravette has requested that funding be secured so that Bible history can be offered as a high school elective.
